Tamara, What a beautiful image--the dove flying into the wind. I will hold that to my heart when I feel ground into the earth, struggling to rise. You are an inspiration, Tamara, in your art and in the paths you chose to take in life. Blessings & Light!

SO I just realized that this is the Squaw Valley in Ca. Growing up in Madera I always considered the Sierra Nevadas "my" mountains. Yosemite is really one of my favorite places on the plant. Maybe it is my favorite.

I was just reading Sharon Olds this past weekend. She strikes such a chord of (I'm not sure what) that I have to go slowly, one maybe two poems at a time.

The emotional limb...hmmm...it's the same with making art works. Often there is such an anxiety about going into the studio; all sorts of procrastination tricks. The joke being that the only thing that relieves the anxiety is starting the work.

I admire you poets, you seem to stand right in the middle of it all. And you Hari Bhajan, I can just picture you, dovelike, flying boldly right into the wind.

Thank you for your postings about Squaw Valley...about your journeys as a poet and writer. You take big bold steps. It is quite encouraging.
